At the department the training is accomplished on the full-time form according to levels.
The level of the specialized secondary education (1st level): on the base of general basic education (GBE) and on the base of general secondary education (GSE) on specialities:

2 41 01 31 “Microelectronics”: specialization “Technology of integral microchips”, qualification technician-technologus: GBE – 3 years 10 months.
2 25 01 10 “Commercial activity”: specialization “Information support of business”, qualification economist: GSE – 1 years 10 months.
All the people’s imagination is excited by a computer. The market of computers continues to expand and it doesn’t have any tendencies to reduce. On the contrary, computers industry has become the largest business in the world. Despite all advantages of new personal computers, their repairing is quite difficult. Instead one circuit board with tens of microchips in seats there maternal circuit board with hundreds of microchips. Adapter circuit boards have appeared, which are inserted into connections of maternal circuit boards.
Frames of new type and a lot of microchips have appeared, the frequency of synchronization and the volume of memory have increased. The new computer world has been formed. For repairing a device must be known from technical point of view. Repairing doesn’t need thorough knowledge of programming. Of course it is very useful to know about personal computer as much as it possible, but it is more important to make out digital and analogue electronics.
At the moment 336 daily-form students study on the speciality “Electronic-computing devices”. On this speciality specialists are training for participating in working out and producing computing devices, carrying out mounting, adjustment, testing devices in industrial shops, laboratories, departments while they have elementary engineering posts of a technician, a foreman of a production location, a designer, an electronic-engineer of service.
Before graduating students of this speciality have to know:
physical foundation of design and principles of operating computing devices and blocks;
construction of functional and principle electrical schemes;
basic descriptions of computing devices, production technology of devices;
measuring devices’ descriptions, methodology of adjusting of blocks and devices;
basis of economics and law, management, basis of standardization, security of vital activity.
Before leaving college students must be able to;
use technical drafts;
work out assemblies and devices;
do necessary calculations and find economic foundation of accepted technical decisions;
fulfil design and technological documentation;
work out assembling, mounting and adjusting computing devices;
use measuring devices correctly;
organize the work of the staff;
use computing devices in operating technological documentation, appraise its reliability.
Students of speciality “Electronic computing devices” have vocational training for receiving qualification:
electro radiomeasuring;
production technological;
production pre-diploma practice
Period of tuition is 3 years and 10 months, after graduating the qualification “electronic technician” is given. Students receive profounded specialized secondary education of the higher level which includes the basic subjects of Higher Educational Establishments and have a possibility (if they don’t have satisfactory marks in their diplomas) to receive the higher education in Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics on speciality “Electronic-computing devices” (on the 3rd course).
Appearance of microelectronics was connected with the achievements in the fields of fundamental and applied sciences. First integral microchips were created in the beginning of the 1960s as a result of success in the field of semiconductor and filmy electronics. They have been developing and now they are the base for microminiaturization of radio-electrical equipment.
Modern microelectronics became one of the most important tendency in scientific-technical progress. Creation of large and super-large integral microchips, microprocessors and microprocessor systems permitted to organize mass production of fast operating computing devices, different kinds of electronic equipment, technological process control equipment, connection system, system and devices for automatic control.
170 students are studying now on the speciality “Microelectronics” in full-time education.

Specialists are trained in order to be able to devise and produce radio-electronic equipment, to develop design and technology of production microelectronic devices in industrial shops possessing a qualification of technician-technologist, foreman of industrial location, technician-designer, assembler and inspector of computing devices.
A specialist must know physical basis of construction and principle of operating micro-electronic devices (MED), vacuum technical devices, construction of functional principle electronic chips, main descriptions of MED, methods of calculation and technological production of MED, descriptions of electrical and radiotechnical equipments, methods of assemble and testing MED, principles of automatization of production, basis of economics management and law, security of vital activity, basis of standartization.
A specialist must be able to use technical drafts, schemes; carry out microelectronic schemes and devices; do necessary calculations and find economic foundation of accepted technical decisions; fulfil design and technological documentation; work out assembling, testing and control MED; use measuring devices correctly; computing devices to operate technological process, to work out design and technological documentation, to appraise its reliability. Microelectronics is developing in a large scale in the direction of improvement of integral technology as well as in the direction of using new physical phenomena.
Period of tuition is 3 years and 10 month, after graduating the qualification “technician-technologist” is given. Students received profound specialized secondary education of the higher level which includes the basis subjects of HEE and have a possibility (if they don’t have satisfactory marks in their diplomas) to receive education in BSUIR on speciality “Micro and nano technologies” on the third course.
A specialist on commercial activity is trained for working in joined enterprises, works, establishments of radio-electronic industry.
A specialist is able to take up posts in departments of material-technical supplying, sale departments, production-technical complectation departments. A specialist can work as a head of a warehouse or a deport, as a commodity researcher and also he can run his own business.
A specialist must be able to:

check if documentation has been done properly;
operate modern computing devices;
lead the staff;

make known requiments for goods and services;
